Located on the beach off Stuart Street in Manly, is the Little Manly Beach Kiosk. Stuart Sprott, the owner has been here for more than 10 years with his life partner, Justine, offering a range of drinks, ice creams, and food and has become a beloved part of the beachfront
I had a chance to pull Stuart away from the café for a few minutes and discuss the business, what they strive to do each day for their customers, and their role in the community. In the video above, you can see Stuart and learn about how he started the Little Manly Kiosk 10 years ago and how it grew from a small shop that just offered coffees and ice cream to a bustling restaurant and café that offers a full menu for all three meals.
This is one of my favourite cafes in the area and somewhere I’ve eaten several times, including just before recording this with the cinematographer (had a wonderful big burger and the salt and pepper squid). One of the reasons it’s so convenient is that Stuart also services dinner during the summer, offering service every day of the year and the opportunity to relax with a meal and a glass of wine on the beach throughout the daylight savings time months in the summer.
All you need to do is take a look at this café and its location just off the beach to know why it’s such a favourite for locals and why it’s somewhere I personally enjoy going. If you’re interested in checking out the Little Manly Beach Kiosk, they are open from 9am-5pm every day of the year and until 9pm for dinner during the summer months.
