Located on Manly Beach, Charlotte’s Little Sister is the second restaurant opened by owner Jason Ghebar after the original Charlotte Café in Birchgrove that was opened in 2008. The goal of the café in Manly Beach, much like the original café in Birchgrove, is to offer a level of customer service and care for the customer not necessarily found at other cafes.
I had a chance to sit down and talk with Jason about Charlotte’s Little Sister and the coffee they use. Being that we sponsor a tennis court just up the road and that they are so centrally located here, it’s somewhere I’ve been many times and that I’ve always enjoyed the coffee of.
In the Harris Farm Market in Manly, Charlotte’s Little Sister is the first of four expansion cafes that Jason is in the process of opening, including two more of the same name and a Baby Charlotte cafe that will be opening soon.
One of the things that has always struck me about Jason’s café is the wonderful coffee. Provided by Campos, they offer the Superior blend and are able to provide the best possible coffee for all patrons. It’s a focus Jason has put on his business since the beginning – ensuring the quality is there at all times.
There’s a real love for good food and quality coffee that you can feel in all of the Charlotte venues. With recipes that date back generations and a menu that is enough to draw people all on its own through the east meets west fusion of cuisine, there’s a strong mix of different options there that work very well.
If you’re looking for your next lunch spot or somewhere to stop off for an early morning treat or breakfast, Charlotte’s Little Sister in Manly Beach is an ideal place to stop. The café is open seven days a week from 6-4pm.
